Range

The right (battery) pack for your trips.

Whether on regional routes or international routes – the eActros is available in several variants that are tailored to different transport requirements. The first question might be: Do I need more range or more payload? Find out which model best suits your usage profile.

Electrified efficiency.

Long distance without charging worries: the eActros 600 can cover a range of 500 km without the need for recharging.1 And with the megawatt charging system, it will be able to charge from 20% to 80% in around 30 minutes.12 Its drive system creates extra power. What’s more, the lithium iron phosphate (LFP) batteries don’t require nickel or cobalt and offer huge advantages when it comes to both service life and energy flow.

400 vs. 600

A white eActros from Mercedes-Benz Trucks stands on a shiny surface in a room with green and blue walls decorated with geometric shapes. The truck is shown from the front right, which makes its side view and the shiny rims easily visible.
eActros 400

Medium range meets payload.

Equipped with two battery packs (approx. 414 kWh11), the eActros 400 is the ideal choice for national long-haul transport. It offers an efficient solution for operations that return to the depot daily or drive shorter to medium-sized trips. Due to the lower weight, a higher payload of approx. 25 t is also available.

eActros 600

Long distances? No problem.

With the CCS2 charging standard applied as standard, charging time on the road can be efficiently integrated into the timetable. The three LFP battery packs with a total of approx. 621 kWh11 are durable, low-maintenance and free of nickel and cobalt.

The ProCabin ensures additional comfort on long journeys – it not only improves the feeling of space, but also reduces energy consumption thanks to its aerodynamic shape.

The eActros 600 is the solution for plannable, international trips, as it offers a range of 500 km without recharging1 and also supports longer distances thanks to its charging technology and driving comfort.

Cab variants

Two cabs, one goal: Comfort.

The eActros is available with the proven ClassicSpace and StreamSpace cab designs, as well as the ProCabin (available in Stream, Big and Giga).
While the proven cabin is designed for shorter distances or more frequent stops, the ProCabin offers maximised space and added comfort for longer distances. All variants come with the modern Multimedia Cockpit Interactive 2 as standard.

ProCabin

That extra bit of comfort for long days.

The image shows the interior of the cab of an eActros from Mercedes-Benz Trucks at dusk, with a view of the bed and driver’s seat. Wind turbines and a field at sunset can be seen through the windscreen, which creates a calm atmosphere.

Peacefully cocooned. Less noise and less vibration create a whole new driving experience. The cab insulation and low-noise powertrain create a kind of acoustic cocoon. As a result, the perceived volume is significantly lower than in a conventional truck. For a clear head even after long days.

A man in work clothes sits at the wheel of an eActros from Mercedes-Benz Trucks, looking to the right while holding the steering wheel. The dashboard features digital displays and a large screen showing a map. Through the windscreen, you can see an industrial area with a large building.

Safety

Attentive helpers on board.

Safety first – that’s what you can expect from a vehicle bearing the three-pointed star. The eActros scores high marks not only with the safety assistance systems from Mercedes‑Benz Trucks, but also with features specially designed for it. And with MirrorCam, you get a better all-round view of your truck.

Assistance systems: your safety upgrade.

The eActros comes with innovative assistance systems made by Mercedes‑Benz Trucks – keeping you safe on the road. Its comprehensive safety concept meets legal requirements and standards – and some functions even go above and beyond.

Safety on both sides as standard: with Active Sideguard Assist, the eActros provides even better support when changing lanes, overtaking and turning in complex situations.

A step forwards for safety. The advanced version of Active Brake Assist is now even better at detecting obstacles and critical situations and reacts with appropriate measures – from clear warning signals to automatic full-stop braking. You will also be notified if the system is not yet fully active.

Keeping an eye on everything: the eActros’ Front Guard Assist monitors the area in front of the vehicle and supports the driver with warning signals in the event of possible hazards. For moving off, manoeuvring and turning more safely.

More comfort and safety on the road: the eActros’ Active Drive Assist 3 combines a range of assistance functions that make your work behind the wheel easier and help to avoid dangerous situations as much as possible.

Always alert: everyone gets tired on long, monotonous journeys – but Attention Assist 2 does not. The system can keep an eye on your concentration and recognise when you become inattentive or tired. It can warn you acoustically and visually.

Life cycle assessment

Up to 80%* fewer CO2eq emissions.

With the eActros 600 with ProCabin, you can reduce your CO2eq footprint. Although it initially records higher CO2eq emissions than a comparable diesel truck in production due to its batteries, break-even is already reached after a mileage of just over 100,000 kilometres if you exclusively charge the eActros 600 with renewable energies. Throughout its entire service life of around 10 years or 1.2 million kilometres, from production to the end of its service life, the eActros 600 saves up to 80 percent CO2eq emissions, depending on the electricity mix used. This is calculated by the eco-balance – the analysis of the energy balance and the impact on the environment.

Production of the eActros 600 results in 98,845 kg of CO2eq. Although raw materials and logistics, especially for the battery cells, generate more emissions than comparable diesel trucks, the investment is quickly rewarded: after just over 100,000 kilometres* on the road, the CO2eq balance is offset.

If the eActros 600 is charged using fully renewable energies (EU Green Grid Mix**), its CO2eq balance compared to comparable diesel trucks is already offset after just over 100,000 kilometres on the road – and this with an expected service life of around 1.2 million kilometres.

When the eActros is charged using the average electricity mix, including fossil energy sources (EU Grid Mix 2020**), it overtakes comparable diesel trucks after just over 195,000 kilometres and offsets the CO2eq balance since production.

After up to 10 years and up to 1.2 million kilometres, the eActros 600 with ProCabin has fulfilled its service. In doing so, it has not only avoided the CO2eq emissions that comparable diesel trucks would have generated over the same period; the eActros 600 has also saved up to 51% in air and water pollutants throughout its entire life cycle. For example, water bodies are protected from excessive algae formation, which is mainly caused by nutrients such as nitrogen and phosphorus.

The eActros 600 with ProCabin achieves the highest possible savings if it obtains its power from renewable energies such as biomass or wind, solar and hydro energy throughout its entire truck service life. The EU Green Grid Mix 2020 represents exactly this average electricity supply, from 100% renewable energies.

It goes without saying that your truck can also be charged using electricity from sources that include fossil sources in addition to renewable energies. This electricity mix is represented by the EU Grid Mix 2020. Compared to a diesel vehicle, this power mix is also economical.

While the total CO2eq balance of the eActros 600 compensates for a comparable diesel truck using the EU Green Grid Mix 2020 after just over 100,000 kilometres, for the EU Grid Mix 2020 this is the case after around 195,000 kilometres.

* EU Green Grid Mix 2020 – based on a life cycle assessment in accordance with ISO 14040:2006+A1:2020 and ISO 14044:2006+A1:2017+A2:2020 and critically reviewed by an external third party, TÜV Rheinland. The data and assumptions on which the life cycle assessment is based, including the specifications for the functional units and methods, have a significant impact on the results. A comparison with other truck models or vehicles is therefore neither intended nor recommended.
